CHARACTER INFORMATION
Filling out the info sheet isn't required, but it is encouraged! It helps the mods personalize the game for characters wherever possible, in both big and small ways. We can't always be canon familiar, so think of it as a cheat sheet for us.
We also encourage players to take advantage of the malleability of the setting to highlight commonalities between characters & build CR, and the info sheets can be useful resources for that as well! Just be sure that before you reference something from a character's info sheet that you've cleared it with their player beforehand.
CHARACTER NAME(S): ## Include aliases, important nicknames, or real names (if your character goes by something else.) ##
CANON: ## Include a wiki link, if one exists! ##
CANON POINT: ## For reference! ##How did your character die? ## Include as much or as little detail as you like. Include links if you think that will help! If you've AU'd your character at all, let us know. ##
Does your character's canon have its own afterlife? ## Links are great, or just give us a quick rundown of what this afterlife looks like. ##What are some of their favorite things? ## What are small things that bring your character joy? Favorite colors, favorite foods, favorite hobbies, etc. ##
Who are some of their favorite people? ## Note for us if any of them are also dead. ##
What are they most proud of from their life? ## This is whatever they themselves would value — maybe they saved the world, but they're more proud of the cool thing they invented, for example. ##What do they dislike? ## Again, think small. Disliked foods, least favorite weather, pet peeves, etc. ##
Do they have any enemies, or anyone they particularly hate? ## Again, let us know if any of these people are also dead. ##
What are they afraid of? ## This could be as minor as "spiders" or as existential as "being forgotten". Or both! ##
Do they have any regrets from their life? ## Anything left unfinished, or that's hard to let go of? ##
Sakuya Shirogane le Bel
CANON: Here!
CANON POINT: Post-BBL but before the epilogue. Some elements from Holiday Star, the manga, and the drama CDs are also incorporated.
How did your character die? AU death! Sakuya was assassinated. He was suddenly pinned down in his own study and his throat was cut without any fanfare, and without ever seeing who did it. The why is that since BBL his behavior's changed notably and he's fallen from favor enough that one of le Bel's other children felt they could get away with removing him from the picture.
Does your character's canon have its own afterlife? Yes! Sometimes dreamers get there too, more temporarily. Some birds and humans, at least, wake up in a Night on the Galactic Railroad situation, a train going through the stars. Death is present as the Conductor, who's folksy and gentle and calls ghosts things like "kiddo". As they travel, ghosts forget things and eventually reincarnate. Sometimes the train stops to wait for signals and the passengers can get out to look around. The train can leave them behind, but another one always comes eventually.
In "Holiday Star" we meet a ghost who was afraid of the journey and stayed behind at one of the stops, transforming it into the titular Holiday Star, an attractive place to visit, and himself into its King. Lonely, he kept visitors from leaving by playing off their fears and traumas and, if that didn't work, with physical force, always eventually absorbing them into himself and becoming lonely again. When he was defeated, the souls he'd consumed were no worse for wear and boarded the next train with him.
What are some of their favorite things? ## What are small things that bring your character joy? Favorite colors, favorite foods, favorite hobbies, etc. ##
High-quality and expensive things! (Old money expensive I mean, not gaudy or gold-coated). The trappings of Christmas. Ninja, samurai, other "cool" Japanese things which he often has a skewed understanding of.
The big thing is music, though. Sakuya truly and deeply loves music, particularly classical music. He loves a lot of old composers and is great with the piano. In another route he tell his father he wants to pursue music, knowing he'll be disowned and have to live in an unheated cave with Hiyoko... and he's happy!
Who are some of their favorite people?
His older brother Yuuya Sakazaki. Sakuya saw him succumb to a poisoned blade and thinks he's dead, but he's fine in the epilogue and says he was "loitering around on the border between life and death" before he was given an antidote.
His mother, even if she's been somewhat checked out for his whole life. She's been having a hard time since Yuuya's death. :')
His classmate Ryouta Kawara, Ryouta's terminally ill mother. He'd object to calling these favorites but I'll mention Okosan and Anghel too.
The Human Representative Hiyoko Tousaka. She's... the doctor says whether she's alive or not is a difficult question and there isn't a definite border between life and death, that her brain is "just barely" preserved in cryo. However, she asphyxiated and was hacked to pieces, her brain put into a terrifying robot scarecrow, and the scarecrow electrocuted, and her spirit appeared to a few different characters. That's pretty dead, even if a part of her lingers.
What are they proud of from their life? ## This is whatever they themselves would value — maybe they saved the world, but they're more proud of the cool thing they invented, for example. ##
What do they dislike? ## Again, think small. Disliked foods, least favorite weather, pet peeves, etc. ##
The gaudy and gold-coated sort of expensive stuff.
Do they have any enemies, or anyone they particularly hate? Pretty much all the rest of the le Bel family.
What are they afraid of? ## This could be as minor as "spiders" or as existential as "being forgotten". Or both! ##
Being grabbed at and held down. Being eaten by predators. Having his individuality crushed.
Do they have any regrets from their life? He made a promise when he left Ryouta with Hiyoko in cryo: he was going to be there whenever medical science advanced to the point of it being safe to take Ryouta out, and he takes his promises very seriously.
Sakuya actively went into both funding and directing medical research - primarily looking for a way to de-virus Ryouta because that's way more achievable than reviving Hiyoko considering how damaged her brain is but looking into that, too. He opened avenues into legal investigation of their school. Trying to keep peace between humans and birds... well, Sakuya knew that was beyond him alone but he fed some resources to the Dove Party. He was also having Ryouta's mother cared for.
It's rough knowing he can't get back to any of that. Much of this is likely to survive him but they won't get it right, the funding will certainly decrease, etc etc.
