CHARACTER NAME(S): Makoto Naegi (Also called SHSL (Super High School Level) Hope) CANON: Danganronpa CANON POINT: AU of Danganronpa 3
How did your character die? In this AU, Makoto's trial is not interrupted by Tengan's killing game, and he is found guilty of treason. He is then executed shortly after by Kyosuke Munakata, who stabs him in the heart with his katana just as Hajime Hinata and the others come to rescue him. He dies of blood loss shortly after. Does your character's canon have its own afterlife? I don't know. The closest thing we got is the afterlife theater.
What are some of their favorite things? Curry and trendy things. Makoto describes himself as ordinary in every way, especially in his interests. Who are some of their favorite people? His family (Little sister Komaru and his parents (that he doesn't remember here), his classmates (Both dead and alive (especially Sayaka Maizono (dead), Kyoko Kirigiri, Aoi Asahina and Byakuya Togami (He's an ass but Makoto trusts him with his life) and Alter Ego (an AI his dead classmate Chihiro Fujisaki made). What are they proud of from their life? This is a hard question since he doesn't tend to take credit for his accomplishments, instead believing them to be a team effort. Maybe his bonds?
What do they dislike? Dried mackerel, dried bean curd and violence. Do they have any enemies, or anyone they particularly hate? Despite his history with questionable people and their choices, the only person Makoto hates is Junko Enoshima, the mastermind of the killing game. One of Makoto's classmates, his hate for her comes from her tyranny as Monokuma (her persona in the Killing game), her betrayal as someone he once cared for and the cause of the Tragedy. Even then, he didn't want her to die. Mixed with his recovered memories of his past at Hope's Peak Academy, his feelings for her are quite complicated but mostly negative. What are they afraid of? Monokuma and his loved ones' deaths. Do they have any regrets from their life? He tends to blame himself for not stopping the killing game sooner, blaming himself for his classmates deaths. He also secretly regrets not being able to stop Junko from enacting the tragedy.
