All players must be over the age of 18 to participate. No exceptions.
Be Chill to Each Other
We're all adults here, and odds are most of us have been doing this for a while. The top priority of the mod team at all times is to foster a safe, comfortable, fun environment for all players. So be chill to each other! While not an exhaustive list, this means:If you have a player conflict that you cannot resolve one-on-one, contact the mods via our contact page and we will do our best to mediate.
- Proactively communicate with your fellow players.
- No infomodding, powergaming, or godmoding.
- IC != OOC & ICA == ICC. Assume good faith whenever possible.
- If you have a conflict with another player, make some amount of good faith effort to resolve it on your own before escalating to the mod team.
Warn Appropriately
Given the premise of the game, it's very likely that triggering and/or otherwise upsetting topics will come up. Whenever possible, warn for sensitive content. Remember that your definition of "sensitive content" may differ from other players' — so when in doubt, warn.
Stay Active
The Crossing is intended to be a highly personalized game with many opportunities for characters to engage with the metaplot. For this reason, it's important to us that players be active and stay active, so that the story can keep moving! If you're having trouble making AC on a regular basis, please reach out to us so that we can work together on a solution. If we see any abuse of hiatus mechanics to skirt AC requirements, we reserve the right to remove you from the game.
